Xcite Wrestling Presents Xcite VS The World 3 Featuring Former WWE Highflier, Evan Bourne
Xcite Wrestling is proud to present the third annual Xcite Versus The World on Saturday, April 25th. It once again takes place from our home at the American Legion Post 80, 76 Main St, Binghamton, NY. Due to an injury of our champion, Marc Hauss, Xcite’s biggest show of the year just got bigger. We will be presenting an eight-man tournament to crown a new Xcite Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. At this unprecedented event, we are extremely proud to announce that in a first round match we will feature former WWE Superstar, Matt “Evan Bourne” Sydal, taking on for the very first time anywhere, Lucha Underground Superstar, Matt Cross. Both are master high fliers, and each has perfected their own version of the breathtaking Shooting Star Press. It would be a main event on any show in the country, however at Xcite Versus The World 3, it is just one of the awesome round one matches!
In another first round match, one the most in demand stars in wrestling today, AR Fox, makes his return to Xcite Wrestling taking on the debuting Alexander James. While James is still a relative newcomer, he undoubtedly will try to instantly gain notoriety by defeating the always entertaining Fox.
At the first Xcite Versus The World, Chainsaw Joe Gacy won a tournament to be crowned the first Xcite Wrestling Champion. Now, two years later, Gacy is primed to go for a second reign if he can get by his first round opponent, Alex Payne. Once teammates, now Payne and Gacy are bitter enemies. For the last few shows they have attacked each other, mostly because Gacy blames Payne for causing him to lose the Xcite title. This will definitely be a hard-hitting contest.
Rounding out the first round of matches to determine the next Xcite Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, the ultra popular Greg Xcellent takes on the very tough Sozio. These two men have cross paths many times in Xcite, and has electrified and entertained fans with their brand of unique styles. With the added pressure of making it to the finals of the tournament, both men will pull out all stops to win what will be a highly entertaining match up.
In addition to the four opening round matches, and the final four-way elimination match to determine the new Xcite Champion, there will be other awesome match ups. In what is being billed as a Binghamton Street Fight, Rob Cook, Nick Napoleon, Axel Lennox and the Ultra Violent Bulldozer Matt Tremont battle to determine the new number one contender for the Xcite Title. There is incredible amount of bad blood between Cook and Napoleon, and when you add the always volatile Binghamton native in Lennox and the extreme Tremont, this is an explosive situation. This match won’t be for the weak stomached.
In addition, there will be more matches featuring, Endicott’s own Dogs of War, Brooke Danielle, Brittany Blake, The Rich Kids, and Greater Binghamton natives, Austin Hope, George Gatton, and the Step Brothers.
“Every Xcite show, the guys and girls bust their butt to bring our brand of Xcitement,” states Jonathan Musok, Xcite Wrestling Owner. “However, they really step up their game for Xcite Versus The World. Its our biggest show of the year and this years looks like the best card to date.” Musok continued with, “The fact we are putting on Matt Sydal taking on Matt Cross before anyone in the world did, just shows the kind of commitment with have for bringing the best wrestling to the greater Binghamton area. There will truly be Shooting Stars over Binghamton on April 25th!”
